This concert opens the 23rd season with two world premieres and traditional Balinese dance music for gamelan gong kebyar. The performance includes premieres of Glass, composed by former member Robin Buyer, and Nasi Goreng, composed by Assistant Musical Director, Sam Schmetterer. The group will also perform two traditional dance pieces - Rejang Dewa and Gabor - featuring dancers Claire Fassnacht and So Yeon Shin.
