MITHAS presents: Sadanam Balakrishnan & Troupe, Kathakali Dance. Theatrically thrilling and complex, Indian dance legend Sadanam Balakrishnan showcases the classical Indian dance form of Kathakali, a rich combination of ballet, opera, masque and pantomime that’s rarely performed in the U.S. Accompanied by several vocalists and percussionists, Balakrishnan’s troupe will present Nalacharitam, a mythological love story that explores how destiny’s unfortunate events can bring about greater happiness in the future. 6pm, Kresge Auditorium General admission: $30; Seniors: $10; Students: free.
