Ryan Keberle and Catharsis

New York City-based trombonist/composer Ryan Keberle has performed with such diverse musicians as Wynton Marsalis, Maria Schneider, Beyonce, and Justin Timberlake. He brings his outstanding young band Catharsis to Killian Hall for a special night of music, including a collaboration with the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble. Catharsis includes Keberle (trombone/melodica), Camila Meza (voice), Mike Rodriguez (trumpet), Matt Clohesy (bass), and Eric Doob (drums).  The musicians will be celebrating the release of their new recording Azul Infinito on the Greenleaf Music label, directed by Dave Douglas.
